Pittsburgh is rich in thought-leaders who have truly changed the world.
From the first commercial radio broadcast in 1920, to the Polio Vaccine that changed the world in 1955, to the first ever EMOJI in 1982 from a computer scientist working at Carnegie Mellon University – Pittsburghers have changed the world. Rich with culture, education, medicine, arts and engineering, Pittsburgh is home to a number of innovative and inspirational organizations and people. For our 2019 programming we looked to tap into those resources and bring them to our campers!
